g-box · the engine
g box
The engine every other page style runs on
49 blocks, a nine-section style panel, and one content-hashed stylesheet at the end of it. Styles are authored as token keys, so a token edit reflows every page without touching a block.

01 — Scopes live in the header
One panel section, four things it can apply to.
Breakpoint, state, pseudo-element and sub-target are switches in the panel header. You stay on Typography and change what it affects — hover, is-open, ::before, a sub-element — instead of hunting for another tab.

02 — The system lives in the product
258 tokens, 20 categories, history with restore.
Every token write captures the previous state, so a palette experiment is reversible. Export the whole map as DTCG, hand it to a designer, import it back.
03 — Zero specificity
Your rules win without a single !important.
Plugin defaults are wrapped in :where() and, where the theme supports layers, pushed into @layer cp-base. A plain class is enough to override anything the plugin ships.
@layer cp-base { :where(.cp-input) { padding: 10px } }
.cp-input { padding: 14px } /* wins */
04 — One file out
A hashed stylesheet you can cache forever.
No inline styles in the markup. The engine emits one file named by content hash and serves it immutable, so a page reflow after a token edit costs nothing on the next deploy.

questions
g box · straight answers
Can I buy g box on its own?
No. It is not sold separately — it arrives installed on a site we build for you at byfriday.co.
What happens to my pages if it is deactivated?
Block markup stays as HTML in the post and the generated stylesheet stops being enqueued. Content is never held hostage, but the layout styling goes with the engine.
Can you migrate me from GenerateBlocks Pro or Cwicly?
No. Today there is only an importer for our internal blueglass-blocks plugin.
